Regarding Hibana's X-KAIROS pellet bug, this is slightly more complicated. "Montagne won't be able to quickly shut down his opponent without having to expose himself anymore, given that there is a decent distance between the two."Įcho's Yokai Drone has now been changed too so that it now disorientates opponents if it hits any valid surface of the body, not just specific places, and that's because Ubisoft "felt like it was really hard to hit the head (even more so on consoles), so we're giving Echo players a lot more room for imprecision to trigger the effect." "We felt like Montagne paired with the LFP586 + laser sight was overall too strong at medium and longer range encounters, so we have increased the hip fire spread of the gun," Ubisoft explains. Other tweaks have also been made to Glaz, included lowering the contrast of the "teal tint" on the scope, as well as on the yellow highlight of enemies. Now it should be easier to see when shots land.
To talk about Glaz first, Ubisoft said that his blood spatter visual effects weren't working properly after he received the new scope in an earlier update, so the developer has now reduced the noise created by the lens, which previously caused the yellow highlight to bleed from character edges, making it unclear where bodies began and ended. A big update, 2.1.3, has landed to Ubisoft's Rainbow Six: Siege, and as detailed on the Ubisoft forums, lots of things have been changed, especially in regards to operators.
